Job Title: Inclusive Playworker
Location: Fairfield Play Centre NW1 and/or Fortune Green Play Centre NW6
Salary: £11.96 per hour
Reporting To: Inclusive Services Manager
Annual Leave: 28 days per annum (including public holidays) pro rata.
Hours: Artist In Training – 10 Saturdays per annum 12-5pm. Natural Play – 15 Saturdays per annum 12-5pm. Staff can opt to work on either or both of the projects.
Job Purpose and Context
The inclusive playworker will help deliver a programme of exciting arts- and natural-play focused weekend activities for 7-14-year-olds including those with disabilities and additional needs. Your primary responsibilities will be the delivery of high quality arts and natural play activities, promoting the happiness, integration and wellbeing of participating users whilst working in partnership with parents and carers.
An introduction to PACE:
PACE is a user-led, grass-roots charity founded in 2011 by a group of parents and play work professionals in Camden to establish high quality inclusive play services in the borough. We now operate a range of services for children aged 2-18 years. We enjoy strong links within the local community and employ a highly experienced, expert staff team.
